If you must sign in to your place with a user name and
password, you are registered as a member of the place. A manager of the IBM® Lotus® Quickr place registered you as a member
by entering your user name, password, and email address. The place manager
enters this information either by typing it in or by importing it from a user
directory.
If the place manager who registered you as a member
entered all your membership information manually, you can change your first
and last names, email address, phone number, and/or related information. You
can also specify whether or not you want to receive the What's New email.
You can change your password or personal information at any time, as well
as notify other place members of your changes.
If the place manager imported your membership information
from a user directory, you may be limited in the types of information you
can change. For example, if the user directory place membership information
was imported from includes email addresses, the email address
listed under your name in the user directory is imported for you into the
place, and you cannot change it in the place. To change your email address
in Lotus Quickr under these circumstances,
you must change it in the user directory your information was imported from.
If you have reader, author, or editor access privileges
in the place, you can do the following actions:
- Change personal information
- Change your password
- Set your offline password
- Notify members of changes
Note: If you do not have manager or superuser
privileges in the place, you cannot change your user name. A place manager
must change your user name for you.
