IBM® Lotus® Quickr mail is designed to
handle incoming mail messages and the copying, moving, and deleting of mail
messages within room indexes. Managers can send mail to invite a new member
into a place. Lotus Quickr can automatically
generate and send email invitations to new members once they are granted access
to the place. Managers can also notify an existing member of changes to his
or her membership information.
Lotus Quickr also provides users with the
opportunity to subscribe to the following information sources:
- The Lotus Quickr News, a newsletter that
lists all changes made in a place during the preceding 24 hours or the past
week. Lotus Quickr News subscriptions are
usually set up by the place manager so that it generates and mails the newsletter
to each member automatically.
- Feed subscription from folders in places that users can employ for their
own purposes.
