A folder is a collection of pages and subfolders.
You can open a folder by clicking on the name of the
folder in the table of contents. If you want to see subfolders and you are
using a theme with an expandable table of contents, click the plus sign next
to a folder. If you are using another theme, you can access subfolders through
the folder list.
Users with at least author access can copy, move and delete
pages in folders as well as create new pages.
For example, suppose your place is a mail-order toy store that sells six
different types of bicycles and 10 different types of scooters, each of which
is described on a separate page. You could create a Products folder and store
the bicycle pages in a Bicycles subfolder within the Products folder. To organize
the information on the scooters, you could store the pages in a Scooters subfolder
within the Products folder.
